Konica Minolta, a famous japanese Multinational company, formed by merging two companies Konica and Minolta, in the year 2003,
dated on january, 7. It is the leading manufacturing company of laser-printers, photo-copier, and fax machines. It has brances in
Ramsey, New jersey, Alabama, Basildon, England, and Missisauga, Ontario. Now, the company has wide range of establishment
in imaging input/output business with the inclusion of office equipment, optical devices, medical imaging, graphical imaging, and
measuring instruments.
Konica Minolta had produced digital cameras with new technogy with DiMage line and released into the digital photography
market which was included in Digital cameras and imaging software as well as film scanners. The product of their company, is the new generation camera with DiMage 7 included in it. This has the features of both traditioal SLR and special features of digital camera. SLR camera
competed the world with its new technology and smartness. The only defect in SLR camera is its lens are not interchangible.
In the year 2004, Minolta holded its last digital SLR camera, with Dynax 7D technology. That was really a successful product at that time.
Konica Minolta and Sony worked jointly from june 2005, for the development of digital SLR. The product was modified with Alpha technology by Sony.
